In the past month I haven't posted too much about fishing because I took my boat in for routine service and found out that my fuel tanks had a factory defect. When we were in Florida, I knew something was up with one of the fuel tanks because the fuel tank appeared to be full on gas, but wouldn't run the motor. I never imagined that the entire fuel tank could be faulty, but there we have it.
The boat was sent in for repair, all the way back to Texas, and I just got it back this past week. The boat seems to be mechanically sound as of now, and both tanks hold fuel and work properly. You betcha I tested that out this weekend.
However, during the replacement of my tanks, I had LED strip lighting in the back that was destroyed and a strange dent in my trailer tongue. It looks like it a tracker picked it up by the trailer improperly and dented that way. I'm going to take pictures and write a letter to Skeeter, and I'll keep you posted of the outcome.
